On Monday, the President unveiled his fiscal year 2012 budget. It outlines spending proposals totalling $3.73 trillion and claims 1.1 trillion in spending cuts over the next 10 years. The proposal contains a five-year freeze on domestic discretionary spending, which the White House says will save $400 billion.
