- President Trump’s discriminatory executive order on immigration and refugees goes against our deepest values as Americans.
- Disturbing new reports continue to raise questions about President Trump’s ties to Russia, both during the campaign and since his election.
- Republicans are rushing to repeal the Affordable Care Act and defund Planned Parenthood, leaving tens of millions of Americans without the coverage they need.
- For too many women in the workforce, equality remains out of reach.
- The Republican Congress is set to pass legislation that would turn all 50 states in to “Right to Work for Less” states, negating workers rights fought for and won over the last century.
- Republicans have affirmed the most anti-government leaders to pretty much gut and demolish entire agencies and departments of the people’s government: Education, Energy, Environmental Protection, State
- The most anti-voting rights Attorney General in decades has been confirmed at a time when Republican-led legislatures across this nation are getting ready to enact even more restrictive voting rights restrictions on top of the voting rights restrictions they put in place for the 2016 election.
- But even worse, it’s becoming ever more evident that the selected President of this nation is goading citizens with lie after lie to revolt so he’d be able to justify declaring marshal law, and ending constitutional government altogether.
We have so much work ahead of us.
Who among us will run for office and succeed to truly represent ALL constituents within Nevada’s 2nd Congressional District, replacing Rep. Mark “sell our public lands to the highest bidder” Amodei? Who among us will run for office and succeed to truly represent ALL constituents across Nevada as its next Senator, replacing Sen. Dean “I vote the way the GOP tells me to vote” Heller? Who among us will run for office and succeed to truly represent ALL constituents across Nevada as its Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, Treasurer and Controller. And even better, who among us will step up and run for our local city and county openings so we finally be able to vote for Democrats to lead our communities?
Republicans have had their chance. It’s time to end their partisan reign in 2018.
